This creamy avocado smoothie is perfect for breakfast or a healthy snack!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cubed pineapple

  • 2 cups fresh spinach

  • 1 ripe avocado

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 3/4 cup milk or light coconut milk (if you want to make it dairy free)

  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice, plus 1/2 teaspoon zest

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • pinch of sea salt

  • Ice cubes

Directions

  • Combine the pineapple, spinach, avocado, banana, milk/coconut milk, lime juice, honey, salt, and ice in a blender. Blend until creamy.
  • Taste and adjust the sweetness to your liking. If you prefer a sweeter smoothie, add some maple syrup. If the consistency is too thick, add more milk/coconut milk, and blend again.
