Ingredients
1/2 cup cubed pineapple
2 cups fresh spinach
1 ripe avocado
1 frozen banana
3/4 cup milk or light coconut milk (if you want to make it dairy free)
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice, plus 1/2 teaspoon zest
1 teaspoon honey
pinch of sea salt
Ice cubes
Directions
- Combine the pineapple, spinach, avocado, banana, milk/coconut milk, lime juice, honey, salt, and ice in a blender. Blend until creamy.
- Taste and adjust the sweetness to your liking. If you prefer a sweeter smoothie, add some maple syrup. If the consistency is too thick, add more milk/coconut milk, and blend again.
