Inspired by the Swiss Gruyere, our cheese boasts a sweet nutty flavor that gets stronger and complex when aged longer. Traditionally used along with Emmental to make cheese fondue.
The cheese is darker yellow than Emmental but the texture is more dense and compact. Gruyère is sweet and a little salty. When young, it is creamy and nutty but after maturation, the texture becomes earthy and complex with small cracks and grainy.
- Milk is sourced from ethical farms where cows are grazed and allowed to pasture.
